This collection for the japanese market has been inspired by the game of chess and the illustrations of Vicky Faretina. She's a fashion illustrator and design heavily influenced by sweet and gothic lolita subcultures. I decided to work on that and to make a collection of randoseru, schoolbags both for children and for the teenagers-adults who partecipate in those subcultures.
Each design has a plushie and a card, on which that could be described what the chess piece does in the game or as a name tag.
For these designs I used watercolour on paper and some retouches on photoshop.
