This collection is inspired by what fascinates me most: the world of mistery, antiques and the unknown. Like a night without stars, an unheard feeling whispers in the mind of those searching for an answer through new paths. This is an haute couture collection, A/W 2022, I imagined for this a strong person, fierce and bold, who know what they want and doesn't fear the dark but instead uses it as tool to shine.
This collection is strong, but whimsical. The heels are in bioplastic covered in a deep glossy black varnish and they look like black water. I chose this particular tint of cold green for the lining to express the water as a symbol of life and strength.
After studying the target and made a moodboard, I always sketch a lot, and then decide what I would like to develop and render. These are some of the many skecthes I made.
Gothic architectures inspired me to design the cut in the upper, and I chose gold for the hardware to symbolize the holiness permeated into them. Also, it creates a bold contrast with the black lamb leather.
There are the final concepts, I painted them using ecoline, inks and white pencil on watercolor paper.
